Susan Jones – Founder/CEO
Welcome to Susan Jones Teaching! When it comes to the primary grades, learning all the things in the K-2 world has been my passion for many years! I just finished my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and love sharing all the latest and greatest strategies I learn with you through this blog and my YouTube channel! I hope you’ll enjoy learning along with me 🙂
Years ago I fell in love with sharing my ideas, resources, and experiences from my own 1st-grade classroom in the hopes that it would help inspire teachers all over. I continue to learn so much from my peers, near and far, and find that if we help one another, we can reach so many more students across the world!
These days I make it MY job to make YOUR job easier! I take what I learn and try to share that information with you in a manageable way so you can take it and use the ideas in your classrooms right away. Along with creating research-based activities, I like to make sure my activities are engaging for students. When my students are having fun, I am having fun!

Hi Everyone! I have been with Susan from the very start and am her very proud husband! I am behind-the-scenes guy and help in all sorts of ways with SJT so that Susan can focus on most of the things you see – YouTube videos and teaching resources! My main areas of focus are marketing, customer service, finances, process streamlining and data analysis. I also help some with product creation and graphic & web design. I love the variety of things I get to work on and learn about with SJT. Shout out to everyone who says “Hi” to me during her live-streams!
