One of the positives of 2020 in the teaching world has been the transition to digital. It has been tough, don’t get me wrong, but digital games can be engaging for your students.
I have been creating and adding digital games to my TPT store (you can see those >> HERE <<), but I thought I would make a free activity for you to use as well!
I show exactly how to use this freebie in the video below if you want to go ahead and press play:
Essentially this is a cover-up game for short vowel, CVC words. There are five different slides, one for each short vowel, with an audio cue to help students. All students need to do is look over the images in the grid and cover up any image that includes that short medial vowel with a star!
These games are available in both Seesaw and Google Slides for easy access to those teaching digitally!
You can grab these digital activities completely free by clicking down below:
If you end up enjoying these, I also have an entire bundle of math cover-up activities that I am adding to all the time.
Pin to remember:
Are there any other digital activities you are looking for that would help you with your distance learning this year?! Let me know in the comments down below!
