I found that I was lacking in materials to teach all the language standards aligned with the Common Core, so I created this pack of activities and printables to help teach and reinforce these skills to my first graders. I used many of these ideas as mini-lessons either during or before my writing block.
Language Standards included (shortened form):
L.1.1a – print uppercase and lowercase letters
L.1.1b – common, proper, and possessive nouns
L.1.1c – singular and plural nouns with matching verbs
L.1.1d – personal, possessive, and indefinite pronouns
