Each month, the phonological/phonemic awareness skills build upon one another as do the math skills. There are two different layouts for December skills so students can become familiar with what they’re doing.
In December, students will:
- Identify the day of the week
- Delete the beginning word of a compound word
- Complete the beginning letters of CVC words
- Identify 2D/3D Shapes
- Compare objects (length, height, weight)
