The skills currently included are:
Beginning ID Slides:Â Display each slide ask students to segment the three sounds they hear in the word. Then, ask students to identify which sound they hear at the beginning. Move the green circle to reveal the letter that makes that sound and check if students are correct!
- There are 50 unique slides and an editable slide at the end to continue practicing.
Phoneme Segmentation Slides:Â Display each slide ask students to segment the sounds they hear in the word. As an extension, ask students which letter(s) are representing each sound. Move the circles to reveal the letter that make each sound and check if students are correct!
- There are 90 unique slides (30 CVC words, 30 blends, 30 digraphs) and an editable slide at the end to continue practicing.
Sound Substitution: Display each slide ask students to segment the sounds they hear in the first word. Then have students do the same with the second word. Tell them one sound has changed – either the beginning, the middle, or the end sound. Students will identify which sound was changed to make the second word. They will move the circle to see if they’re correct (only one circle moves!).
- There are 40 unique slides with different phonemes changing (beginning, middle, or end).
Enjoy!
