In this visual discrimination unit, students will need to use their letter-sound knowledge to correctly identify the way to spell words. Beginning with easier skills (CVC words, digraphs, etc.) students will look at the image, say the sounds aloud and try to identify the correct way to spell the word. As skills progress, they will learn to identify which vowel team or diphthong to use when spelling words.
