Writing & Phonics Center for First Grade: Simple Sentences

In this writing center, students will read two decodable words and generate a simple sentence using each. This is a great independent center because you can choose the skill your students are working on, and they can practice their sentence writing!

When using this center, I first am only looking for a simple sentence where students check their work for CUPS at the end. As students progress, you can ask them to write more detailed sentences.
