Simple and Effective Literacy or Math Game: Erase ‘Em

January 7, 2019

If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know my goal this year is to share a bunch of simple & effective games for you to take back and use in your classroom right away! This week, I am sharing a literacy or math game up I’ve used many times in my classroom. It’s called, Erase ‘Em. It is great for kindergarten, first, or second grade students.

If you click on my YouTube video above, I will teach you exactly how to play!

I really like this as a small group game because you can cater it to the needs of those specific students.

Looking for more standards-based math games that will engage your learners and save you lots of time?!

Pin to remember:

This math or literacy center is a great warm up to use in small groups. The game, called "Erase 'Em" is simple to prepare and has students working on phoneme manipulation to create words. You can also put a math spin on it to have students practice their addition/subtraction skills! See how to play over on the blog!
